Summary:

Use case -

Customer returns the defective, Vendor sends the new part the replace the defective.

Defective and New Parts are enabled for customer asset lifecycle & SN tracking, and need to be updated to the customer asset after RMA receipt for return line and SO ship confirm for install line.

Content (required):

I think the current capability is that we can update IB asset/hierarchy if we capture parent IB asset on SR.

My question is -

Are we able to capture the defective serial# on the install line so that we can update customer asset and hierarchy and subscription?
