Workforce Compensation Worksheet - xls worksheet file saving as htm/html by default

Summary: Workforce Compensation Worksheet is being downloaded in .xls format is saving as .htm/.html by default.

Content (required): When we export/download the Workforce Compensation Worksheet,

File format is Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Worksheet (.xls) by default.


When we open the file, get the file format and extension don't match:


On clicking Yes, can open the worksheet file.

Once the worksheet is opened, When clicking on Save, getting the following message.


On Clicking "No", it opens up Save As option to save the file with Web Page (*.htm, *.html) by default.

Then from the Drop Down, can select Excel Workbook (*.xslx) and change the file extension from .xls to *.xlsx, can save the Worksheet finally in
