Max Customer Site Record Count?

Summary:

Simple question: Can we create hundreds of thousands of Customer Sites (Ship To)? We have requirement where drop ship customer has consumer ship to records and we need to create them in AR for AR Invoicing and printing ship to on invoice. Is there any limit? Will we have performance issues?
