What is the best practice for terminated employee's Performance Document?

Employee is inactive in the system but their Performance document details is visible when filtering to inactive employees. What is the recommend approach -Cancel/Complete PDA's . Also if the employee is rehired in the same goal plan year, what will be the approach?
