New Plan for Open Enrollment appearing in Life Events

Hello,

I have created new plans for 2023. In order to see them in the Open Enrollment window I had to add 2022 as an available year. However, now they appear in any of the program life events, even though they are technically NOT available until Jan 1, 2023. So if I have a new hire on Nov 30, they should NOT see the new plans. How do you get around this one?
