Required carryover value to be used in the Absence Entry Validation formula

Our requirement is to put the restriction based on the carryover limit so we required an entity which returns us the carryover value for the specific period or current period.

Also can anyone can let me know if we have any carryover balance DBI's or functions that i can use in the Absence Entry Validation formula. I am trying ACP_CARRY_OVER_AMOUNT

PER_ACCRUAL_BAL_CARRY_OVER_AMT DBI's but its not working in the entry validation FF
