Manager should be able to update their ratings prior to sharing and releasing.

I've raised an SR but wondering if anyone here has encountered the same issue or perhaps it's our business process.

We have a requirement for the manager to have the ability to update the rating after it has been submitted for calibration but before sharing and releasing. Do we need to roll the performance document status back to Line Manager evaluation in order for the manager to update the rating? Or is there a setting that allows the manager to update the rating even after clicking submit and before clicking share and release, so we don't have to manually intervene?
