Cannot pay half day company sick pay
Statutory Sick Pay is configured in Calendar Days and pays whole days only.
Company Sick Pay allows payment of half days. However, even when the absence is entered as a half day, a whole day is paid.
We have been advised this is due to using Calendar Days and that the solution, to allow half day payment of Company Sick Pay, is to create a separate absence type to be used only in case of half day absences, or to make manual adjustments whenever there is a half day sickness. Neither of these are ideal solutions – can anyone recommend another solution or share with us how they have achieved this requirement please?
