How to prevent goal weight warning in performance document

edited Jan 17, 2023 2:06AM in Performance Management 4 comments

Summary:

Hi experts, hoping for your help. Our organisation has enabled goal weights but we do not require the sum of the goal weights to equal 100. It is acceptable for an employees goal plan weights to equal, for example, 50. When the employee submits a performance document they are receiving the following warning message: "Warning. The sum of weights for Evalution topic 2022/23 Goal Plan must be 100%. The current sum of weights is 50. Do you want to continue?". We believe this warning has only started since we started using the 'use synchronized goals section' function.

The employee can select 'yes' and continue, however we would like this warning not to appear as it is inaccurate and misleading. Does anyone know how we can prevent this warning from appearing?

Howdy, Stranger!
