Update of Customer Account Number

Hi,

our client is requesting us to update Customer Accounts' number in order to match a new naming convention.

We need to understand how to do this and what are the impacts of this change.

We need to know:

1) How can Customer Accounts' Number be massively updated? What are the tools available? Can FBDI be used or are there any other tools available to perform this activity?

2) What are the impacts on changing the Customer Account Numbers? Is the customer Account Number used by other applications (i.e. is referenced in tables other than HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS)? If yes, is the Account Number updated also in all the referenced applications?
