How can I search the parts catalog for a specific part with an API request?

A customer has successfully uploaded items to their parts catalog through the API. However, they want to look up a specific part using the API to check the complete list of the catalog or check a specific part with the label of it or other searchable field schema properties.

Is there any method or possible way to search for that part through API?
