What is expected behavior to allocate an Enterprise Onboarding Step when there is a change in Start Date

Content (required):

In our scenario, we have two Steps configured in an Enterprise Onboarding Journey. The 1st step is allocated when someone is converted to a Pending Worker. The 2nd Step is set to allocate When The Record Becomes Effective for the Hire Action. Basically, the 2nd Step allocates on the Start Date of the new worker.

But what if there is a change in Start Date after the record has been converted? Will the already allocated Journey recognize this and allocate the 2nd Step on the new Start Date?
