Amazon punchout custom line type to 2-way match

We are currently in the process of configuring an Amazon punchout catalog and one of our requirements is to have the lines come through as Material but 2-way match. We created a custom line type in 2020 when Oracle allowed this for punchouts in the 20C update. Staples has accommodated it seamlessly but Amazon is telling us they cannot do it.

Has anyone configured an Amazon punchout catalog using a Material line type but 2-way match? I dont necessarily care how it gets done, although them sending us the custom line type like Staples does would be the easiest. We've explored having jobs run to create change orders and update the PO lines but that is only going to cause more issues.
