Performance Documents transferring to new assignment

Summary:

I have an employee who changed legal entity and generated a new assignment on 1/1/23. There performance document is tied to their old assignment. The comp worksheets are looking for an assigned performance document to then enter the appraisal in the worksheet along side the merit. The comp worksheet appears to be looking at the new assignment which does not have a performance document. Has anyone else encountered this issue and how have you resolved?
