Moving plans to New Benefit Program
We have 3 unrestricted retirement 403b plans that are not in program. We'd like to use the Coverage Across Plan Types to utilize a combined coverage limit between the pre-tax and post-tax 403b plans, however this requires the plans to be in a program.
The plans are created and require no change other than to change them to in program and actually add them to the program, so enrollments should not be effected.
As anyone had experience adding plans that were previously not in program to a new program mid-year? Are there any considerations that we need to account for?
