Best practice to update grades on current jobs
My company is currently redoing it's salary structures in Oracle. We have newly created Grade Rates, Grade Ranges and Grades. We want to remove the old grades on current jobs and add the new grades to the current jobs.
The problem we are facing is that we do not currently use position management. With that being said, Oracle does not update assignments on employees when the grade is updated on the job. As a result, we would need to find a workaround to update the employees' assignments. Is there a better way to go about this? Do we need to load new jobs and associate the new grades to the new jobs and then load that to the employees' records?
