Unable to update the 'Quote or Order Number' from CPQ to CX

Summary:

We are facing an Issue with the Quote Update for 'Quote or Order Number' field. When we create the Quote we are able to do 'Update Opportunity' and 'Return to Opportunity'. If we want to update the 'Order Number' field in CPQ and click on 'Return to Opportunity' or 'Update Opportunity' we are facing an error. can anybody suggest on this.

Could not perform Action: Return to Opportunity

During commerce integration Process ID: 36244034, Name: OSC - REST Upsert Quote Error message from the partner site: OrderHeaderNumber: Attribute Quote or Order Number in view object Quote and Order cannot be set.
