Understanding the "Archive and Purge Journey Data" ESS process

edited Mar 27, 2023 5:51AM in Journeys 1 comment

Summary:

Archive and Purge Journey Data ESS process vs. HDL?

Content (required):

Hi All,

If we run this process manually/automatically - would the ESS force complete/delete/archive/purge ALL data according to Archive/Purge fields setup on checklist template or specified in profile options?

If we wanted to target specific data - would it be best to take an HDL route instead? (we don't want to archive ALL open allocated checklists - just some, for example).

What are best practices with running the ESS process?

Any information is helpful! Thank you!
