Summary:

Correct use of the Stop Day Rule and addressing the apparent contradiction in the implementation guide.

Content (required):

According to the implementation documentation, it looks like the Start Day Rule depends on the grouping threshold and whether or not the Split Day Rule is invoked. However, the example for Stop Day Rule is not clear.

In the example, the implementation guide shows a "Start day" solution for the Stop Day Rule example. Is this because it does not meet the criteria of the "time card, absence accrual and pay period are the same"?

It then goes on to say "To ensure that all time card entries get paid in the same pay period, start your time card period 1 day before your pay period." If that is the case, when exactly does one use the Stop Day Rule?

Howdy, Stranger!
