Can a custom property be created of GUI Type 'Date'

Hi Team,

We had a requirement wherein we had to create a custom date field and update it in the Activity Details screen in OFSC.

I could find that we cannot bring a date picker in the standard screens by adding a custom property. Is this a product limitation? Is there anyways to acheive it without going to a plugin?
