    • Is it possible to configure a Category Code to require Project Information?

    Summary:

    We are wanting to see if there are any users who have been able to configure their category codes to require Projects information at the requisition level.

    Content (required):

    We have a need to configure certain capital natural accounts to require project expense information.

    Currently, the system bypasses PPM when project numbers are not assigned causing our subledger and GL to be out of balance until financial systems prepares and we post manual entries to fix it. We can’t force people to use the project field via a system challenge. Setting the projects field on a requisition to "required" will make it required for all purchasing needs which is not what our business needs.
