How to process benefit life events that occur during the new hire waiting period?



Currently with our Benefit configuration new hire waiting period is being overridden by another event (Rate Change, Age Change etc.) that occurred during the waiting period.

Content (required):

For example - an Employee hired on Jan 1st, some of the benefits starts from Feb 1st and some April 1st. There is an enrollment window of 1 month. If there is a Rate Change life that occur on March 1 and we process it - it works fine with the benefits starting from Feb 1st but the ones starting from April 1st will now start as of March 1 due to the rate change life event. How to avoid this issue and also make sure all the Benefits plans reflect the new premium.
