Business process is as follows:

There is a group of employees that are assigned to DB and a group of employees that are assigned to DC.

Employee A is in DB and has a basic salary e.g Rs 15000

There is a salary review for employees in DB each year.

However, the increase in salary (e.g Rs 1500) is allocated to employees in terms of supplementary allowance which is an element.

That is,

Basic Salary stays Rs 15000

Supplementary Allowance is Rs 1500
