Hello Experts,

I have a simple requirement and believe I found a solution, however, before implementing I am trying to determine if this is best practice or not. Please let me know if there is a better way.

Requirement: Start all benefit coverages and rates as of new hire date, however, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability should start on the 30th day of employement.

Background: I've seen requirements like this configured in the past where setups leveraged a coverage and rate start date formula to say "start benefit coverage/rate latest hire date +30". I don't believe this to be best practice due to the following scenario.
