We have a client requirement to update life coverage amounts retro to a corrected HR line item thats in the past.

Hired 4/17 - New Hire processed with salary as of 4/17 new hire entry

5/10 - Salary correction to 4/17 salary dated HR line entry is made due to salary supplement that approved and entered as a correction.

They are stating they cannot process these items in a timely manner, and they must be effective back to the original hire or orginal salary change date. I know best practice is to run things real time and handle anything processed late manually. This client won't accept that because their current system does the retro effective dated processing.
