Is there anyway we can bring the Calendar Availability View of a Resource in Activity Details Screen

Hi Team,

We had a requirement where an activity will have a preferred resource and the availability of that resource has to be shown in the Activity Details screen on a button click or a drill-down.

We understand that this cannot be achieved via native functionality. The only option we have is building a plugin.

So is there an API which will give us the availability of a particular resource for a date range ? If such an API exists, we were thinking of calling that and formatting the results to a calendar view (Just a high level thought ).

Have anyone come across any similar requirements? Any other insights on how to achieve this particular requirement also would be helpful.
