Marking Eligibility Profiles as Required on Performance Templates?

Hi All,

When associating an eligibility profile to a document period on the performance templates, what happens if you make the profile "required"?

After running a preliminary Eligibility Batch Process to compare all employee records against the eligibility profile, we allow for an impromptu "eligibility process", where individuals can be "forced eligible" or "forced ineligible" based on local guidelines. If the eligibility profile attached to the document period on the performance template is "required" - does this prevent "forced eligible"/"forced ineligible" from occurring in the system?
