Task Expiry attribute is made mandatory and shown on the task details page from 23B

Task Expiry attribute which use to be available under "Notifications and Reminders" tab earlier is moved to task details page and is a mandatory attribute from 23B.

Task Expiry attribute which use to be available under "Notifications and Reminders" tab earlier is moved to task details page and is made a mandatory attribute from 23B. This was not part of the 23B release notes. We are unable to add a task or modify an existing task without adding an expiry date. Is there a way to make the field optional?
