Journeys - any workaround for approvals?

Summary:

Hi

We are trying to use the Journeys for a Conflict of Interest Declaration, whereby if the employee has disclosed a Conflict of Interest, the Line Manager and HR rep needs to review the information, and decide if there are any actions that needs to be taken.

We noted that there is already an Idea for Oracle to allow for approvals in Journeys, which is under review, so in the meantime, we are looking into possible alternatives.

Has anyone set up a similar Journey and have managed to create something that works?

What we tried to do was to set up the employee disclosure as a questionnaire task, with the employee as the task performer, and the HR as the task owner. When this task is completed, two new tasks are triggered, one to the Line Manager as task performer, and one to the HR Representative as task performer, where they are to review the employee's answers in the first task, and sign off on whether further actions need to be taken.

Howdy, Stranger!
