Expected behavior for profile value ORA_PER_JRNY_SEARCH_STARTSWITH

What is the UX change, besides improved performance, when ORA_PER_JRNY_SEARCH_STARTSWITH is set from N to Y?

Content (required):

We are exploring setting ORA_PER_JRNY_SEARCH_STARTSWITH = Y but want to understand the change in user experience.

From testing, I haven't observed any difference in the search experience in Journeys between the two values. For example, I searched a person's first name, last name, and middle characters such as:

"Blair"

"as"

"India"

I did log out and clear the cache after changing the profile value.
