Creating Asset Cost Summary Report in OTBI

I created "Asset Cost Summary Report" in OTBI, however, I am not getting back the balances as the seeded report when generated for the same period.

The output seems to be giving only period activity, there is no beginning balance, not sure if the correct period field is used when generating for multiple periods (quarter) I used between and am getting the same output for a Month. Are there any fields and filters that needs to be included that are missing from this report?
