Person DFF Custom Attribute to be editable for the users of specific roles only

Summary: We have a requirement where one of the Person DFF custom attribute should be editable by the users of specific roles only (like HR Manager, ADMIN) but for other it should be read only(like employee). The custom DFF attribute is available from employee self service/ responsive page ( i.e. Personal Details page). Please provide the steps and exact EL expressions for the same. Just for additional info HR Manager by default have employee role as well.
