Summary:

Dear experts,

We are currently facing a critical issue during our data migration from EBS to the cloud, specifically related to the Registry ID field when migrating customers and suppliers.

For the migration of customers, we mapped the registry ID field based on our organization's requirements, aligning it with the Party Number from EBS.

On the other hand, for suppliers, we intentionally left the Registry ID field empty since it is not mandatory for our needs, and we had no intention to establish any connections between customers and suppliers.

Regrettably, during the migration of suppliers, the system generated registry ID numbers that coincided with unrelated customers' registry IDs. Consequently, unintended relationships have formed between certain suppliers and customers, leading to system confusion. This has resulted in supplier names being replaced by customer names, along with unrelated addresses.

Howdy, Stranger!
