Journey's task is not getting allocated to the correct user if we convert pending worker to employee

We have a checklist created for hire action with tasks for various responsibility holder, there we observed that if we add a pending worker and then convert it to an employee using convert option then few tasks gets allocated to the one who added the worker as pending worker and then convert it to employee rather than to the correct performer of the employee. How can we resolve this issue.
