PER-1531692: What does this warning mean?

When adding a data role onto a job role in HCM Cloud, this warning pops up:

"The data access secured for a job role affects any data role that inherits the job role. (PER-1531692) Details: Security profiles assigned directly to the job role can also affect any data role that inherits the job role. Do you want to continue?"

Our institution is currently implementing HCM Cloud so we aren't necessarily up on all the terms and meanings yet. I do understand what a job role/data role/security profile is, but I'm having trouble piecing together exactly what the above means. Can someone explain to me in layman's terms what the warning means? I have googled the warning code and tried finding it in Oracle docs/support articles and haven't been able to locate an answer.
