What happens if we don't run "ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS"

Summary:

We were told that we needed to run this job before the 23B update. however it appears that in order for us to run this job, we need to have some additional privileges added to a role (or create a new role). from what I've gathered, the 2 privileges (Access/Manage market place) will be seeded in 23B? if so, then can i just run this process right after the 23B patch? any thoughts on this? we're scheduled to receive the 23B update this Friday. Thanks
