Alternative Uses for Retargeting Events and Data

Rapid Retargeter was designed to address common remarketing use cases, such as Browse Abandonment and Cart Abandonment.  But with some creativity, it can be used for other use cases as well.  Here are a few ideas to consider:

Retargeting Products in Non-Retargeting Emails

When a Browse Abandon event, Cart Abandon, or Purchase event is raised in Program, you can use the Set Data stage to store the associated product IDs (that are made available in the BA_PRODUCTID, CA_PRODUCTID, PU_PRODUCTID entry variable respectively) in a field of a Profile Extension Table (PET).  The PET can then be applied to any email campaign and the field that stores the product IDs can be referenced to personalize the email message with the browse abandoned, cart abandoned, or Purchased products.  In short, you can now incorporate content that was mainly designed for retargeting emails in any email
