How to control the Sales Order Sequence for the Sales Orders created against Service Request

We would like to control the Sales Order Sequence against the Orders created against Service Request

Content (required):

We are trying to control the sequence against the orders which are generated against Service Request. Currently, Sales Orders is getting same sequence number as the Service Request Number.

How do I control it to point it to different sequence or follow a regular sequence which Sales Order is following ?
