New plan options for Medical for Open Enrollment 2024 what effective date should I use
Summary:
I'm building two new options for our Medical and Dental plans they will be effective 01/01/2024 and our employees will be able to select these new plans for Open Enrollment next month. My issue is I originally built them to be effective 01/01/1951, but they are now showing up as options today. Should I have made them effective 01/01/2024? I also understand the rates need to be effective one year prior so the rates would be effective 01/01/2023. Correct?
