Copying/pulling Competencies section rating/comments automatically from Mid-year to Annual Document?

Customer wants from Mid-year review to get copied to annual Review automatically.

We are looking for a way to copy all the competencies with ratings/comments entered in the mid-year performance document into annual performance document

Does anyone know the way to copy all the competencies with ratings/comments entered in the mid-year performance document into annual performance document. Principal adds Competencies directly in Mid-year document. Customer wants the same competencies to get pulled in annual document. Also all the ratings and comments from Mid-year should get pulled with competencies. Any idea how this can be achieved?
