Can individual 'Update' Smart Actions be disabled?

I've configured my Opportunity update page which included adding some custom fields. I see my custom fields automatically get 'Update' Smart Actions which are available in the Action Bar when on the detail page.

Is there a way to prevent fields from becoming Update Smart Actions?
