Pending worker with home email not able to access i9 task

Hi Team,

We have shop floor employee who does not have work email. They should be able to access the preboarding i9 task. But, receiving the below error.

You cant do this task since your person record doesn't have a work email. Contact your HR representative. (PER-1532416)

I applied the fix mentioned as per the doc id, Global HR : Hire Right - Checklist Integrations Not Working For Home Email Configuration (Doc ID 2807284.1)

Seems not working. Please help
