Sum of section weight exceeding the 100%

Summary:

Hello community,

I tried to create a performance document with two performance goals section (Business goals and Individual goals).

I set a section weight of 50% for the business goals section and a section weight of 50% for the individual goals section.

If I log into the system as Manager and open the Performance Document, I can see the "edit weight" button that allows me to edit the weight of each section.

Can you explain me why the system allows me to submit a performance document with sum of section weight exceeding the 100%?
