compare band change in a query to fetch certain paragraph in RTF template

I have a requirement to create offer letter for 'internal transfer' of employees.

So wanted to fetch a query where we can get the band changes ?

For eg: now the employee might have band 1 and then he is applying for band 2 , can we fetch this in query ?

Or will I be able to fetch this in RTF template ?
