Hide certain contacts that the link between Contacts to People to Cover for Beneficiary

We received a use case where all contact types are not applicable to be an option on People to Cover for beneficiary purposes but are applicable to be on Contacts.

Is there a way to block certain Coworker Contact relationships from being viewable on People to Cover to designee as a beneficiary with no impact to the Contacts page?
