Journey task completion criteria not working as expected for demographic business object

When using the completion criteria for an application task to check whether user has submitted their Gender in personal detail, the completion criteria does not evaluate correctly that the object criteria has been satisfied, and continues to trigger a false positive error message.

When new hires navigate to Me - Personal Details section from an application task in Journey to check that there is no missing Gender value in the Demographic section of their profile, the application continues to fire a false positive error message despite user already having gender selected. After following the instructions, the below object criteria syntax was put together with the following error message:
