23D New Feature - Career site Synonyms

Summary:

In 23D there is a new feature that allows for use of synonyms for keyword search on the external career site. We do not currently use the Oracle Search feature; does this mean that if we enable synonym use in Setup and Maintenance, then the seed synonym file will not work on the career site?
