E-Signature Data Model can't be modified to add LotAttributeDFF (Is there an alternative solution?)

Summary:

Our customer uses E-Signatures for the following in line transaction types:

*Inventory Lot Update

*Miscellaneous Transaction

*Quality Inspection Disposition

*Work Order Material Transaction

*Work Order Output Transaction


The requirement is that the signees shall be able to see within the E-Signature PDF report Lot Additional Information (Descriptive Flexfields). These contain relevant metadata without which the approver would know what is being approved.

According to this Oracle Custom Connect note, https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/630008/how-can-i-modify-the-electronic-record-for-inventory-miscellaneous-transaction-report it seems like this is not possible due to the Data Model being an XML file where fields cannot be added.

Our customer wants to know if there is any other alternative solution or workaround in terms of temporary tables that host the changes before approval so that a BI publisher report can be created to support the approval process. If not possible, then is there any other workaround?
