To ensure that questions get required attention from community members and are NOT left unanswered, it’s important for the author to indicate (by selecting “Yes” or “No” when prompted) whether the question was answered. (newly added) Please note that it is also important to respond to EACH comment your question receives. Your Yes or No response ensures an accurate status for your question.

How is the preferred time zone captured during the application process for external candidates?
I am a bit confused about the end-to-end process relating to time zones in ORC for interview management.
The Oracle notes state:
- For internal candidates, the time zone defined in their regional preference in HCM is used.
- If external candidates have no value set for their preferred time zone, it will be automatically captured based on the candidate's browser time zone.
I know where internal candidates can update preferences but I cannot see anywhere in the application or the candidate profile that asks external candidates for this information.
Also, is there a way to make the Preferences section visible on the job application details tab? It seems counterintuitive to have this section hidden away in the job application overview and only accessible to recruiters in the candidate search area. This information needs to be known for setting interviews so to have to navigate away seems a poor design.
