Performance document assigned to an inactive assignement

We would like to make uneditable Performance document assigned to an inactive assignement.

Hi all,
in My Client Group > Performance > Performance Document, When we search for a document assigned to a person with inactive assignment (document assigned when the employee was still active, then the assignment became inactive) we are able to see the document and act on it.
Is it possible to change this behavior? we would like to make it uneditable if on inactive assignment
